On Hwy 160 and Juniper Lane: The Alamosa / Great Sand Dunes KOA Journey is 3.5 miles east of Alamosa at mile marker 237 on the north side of Hwy 160.

For the past 3 years since we have owned the KOA, our work kampers have volunteered to donate the tips they receive when delivering pizzas to KOA Care Camps. KOA Care Camps is a trust that helps children with cancer go to camp and enjoy care-free time focusing on fun, friends and activities at sleep-away camp instead of on their illness. They believe that having cancer shouldn’t mean giving up the joys of childhood. Our work kampers will be sending over $2,000 to KOA Care Camps in 2022. https://koa.com/care-camps/.
